Rolando Calderón Ardila defended his thesis and obtained the degree of Doctor in Science and Technology, from the Sábato Institute of the National Atomic Energy Commission.

His work consists of the “Development of Muonography Techniques for Densitometric Studies of Objects of Strategic Importance”.

Rolando has a Master’s degree in Geophysics, a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and is a CONICET fellow.
His thesis presents research focused on the experimental development of the Muonography technique. It shows an initial theoretical content, an experimental proposal, research, development and start-up of the first modular muon telescope built in Argentina.
