What was presented? As a representative of the group, Dr. Rolando Calderón Ardila spoke about the functional muon telescope designed, built, and used at ITeDA, as well as the first measurements and simulations.
The title of the presentation was “Design and Performance of a Directional Cosmic-Ray Muon Detector for Multi-Purpose Applications, Simulations, and Initial Measurements”.

Also known as muon radiography or muon tomography, it is a cutting-edge imaging technique that uses cosmic ray muons to explore the interior of large, dense structures.
