ITeDA

Double Doctorate

Argentina-Germany Double Doctorate Program

ITeDa offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge scientific projects in astrophysics, cosmology, applied sciences, and engineering.

It also offers scholarships for the Dual Doctorate Program in Astrophysics and Applied Sciences and Engineering, offered at the Sábato Institute (CNEA-UNSAM) and the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), respectively. These programs are co-supervised with the Karlsruher Institute for Technology (KIT) in Germany, allowing for doctoral degrees at both institutions.

The program is offered in two phases, one in Argentina and the other in Germany. The international nature of this program allows students to travel and connect with experts from around the world, and their thesis must address one of the two projects ITeDA is carrying out: the Pierre Auger Observatory and the QUBIC Observatory.

The program is intended for individuals with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Astronomy, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
